Why this site exists

Who runs this website?

Why was this website created?

Are you promoting heat pumps?

We’ve installed a heat pump

We’re not writing this from a distance — we’ve got an Octopus Cosy running in our own home, and based on that experience, we’d recommend them.

That doesn’t make this site unbiased. One good experience with one brand doesn’t mean it’s the right choice for your home, or that another brand won’t suit you better. Everything else here is written to help you reach your own answer, on your own heat pump and provider.
